In addition to developing a PICOT question, discuss the role of theory in evidence-based health promotion practice, and address the following: Describe the selected population in your PICOT/research question and its unique health care needs. When thinking about how to evaluate (obtain an outcome) its effectiveness, what would you measure? Would you measure lab values, interview participants, or both?
